How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Just One Day

I'd like just one day without pain.

2 weeks ago Friday I had surgery.  Woo!  Everything is fine now.

... until this past Friday.

I was walking to my car and literally got within 3 inches of my vehicle and I hit a huge patch of ice.  My right knee slammed into the asphalt, my keys slid under my car, and my purse went flying.

AHHHHHHH!

It felt like I shattered my knee, but it's in tact.  I split it open pretty good though.  I'm very bruised and it hurts to touch.  It's wrapped most of the time.  The downside is winter is a HORRIBLE time for my ankles.  So, both ankles are shot and my knee is gone.

Not cool.

We've had a couple good snows but I can't get out to photograph them since I can hardly move.  Today was my day off an I just sat on the couch most of the day with my leg propped up.  Even worse- my boss is out of commission for a week since HER knee is really, really messed up so all of us are covering her shifts-- which is totally fine!!  But, bad for me right now.

I'm hoping things turn around soon.  My hospital bill came this week- $5200.  I'm in pain most days, I have horrible nightmares, and even worse, this is my first Christmas in Indiana... I can't go home to Ohio this year.
